  • Abstract
    A method is proposed for image fusion of fibrous fracture surface based on Pulse Coupled Neural Network. Firstly, the field depth of an image capture optical system for fibrous fracture surface is studied, and explains the cause for multi-focus image of fibrous fracture surface. Secondly, the image fusion of fibrous fracture surface based on Pulse Coupled Neural Network is introduced, which is to take definition matrix of source images obtained as input of PCNN, and then fuse the source images according the output binary image and some fuse rules. Finally, we got the image fused. The experiment proved that this method showed good fusion effect, which can get good image of fibrous fracture surface.
