Abstract :
The author proposes a congestion control scheme that can guarantee service features of each class for a broadband multimedia network. The scheme is based on the fact that there are a wide range of services in a broadband network and that there are substantial differences among classes of services. A call mode and a connection model have been set up, and the bandwidth allocation, policing, and reactive control of the congestion control scheme have been modeled and analyzed
