Abstract :
This paper puts forward a fault diagnosis expert system based on rough set theory on foundation of traditional radar equipment fault diagnosis: in order to solve the bottle neck problem in the expert system, which is difficult in acquiring completing knowledge. The systems starts from the decision table of historical fault data and reduces by rough set theory, and then construct the model for expert system knowledge. After it calculates diagnosis rule roughness degree, it determines the confidence degree. It uses the reasoning mechanism and fault cases database to implements dynamical maintenance of the knowledge database.
