Abstract :
A receiver which uses LORAN-C radionavigation signals to compute relative time delays and hence location is described. The receiver interfaces to a two-way mobile radio and uses the existing RF channel to send its received LORAN-C information to a fixed-end computer for further processing including location calculation and display. User features and mobile radio interface techniques are also discussed.
