Abstract
The evolution of fiber optic networks into aircraft will require fault tolerant, wide band optical transmission and real time single processing. Photonic integrated circuits (PIC´s) are expected to play a key role in the evolution of these networks and the timely establishment of fly-by-light technologies in avionic systems
