Abstract :
This paper considers the problem of distributed triangular formation control for a group of three agents positioned on the surface of the ocean and experiencing a non-zero mean offset velocity referred to as Stoke´s drift. We provide a result which states simply that the agents converge to the desired formation shape and that the mean centre of mass for the agents is held stationary on the ocean surface.
