Abstract :
Firstly the stator winding parallel-connected branches circulating current characteristics, caused by the rotor winding inter-turn short circuit fault, are analyzed. The results discover that the second harmonics circulating current will increase when the fault occurs. Then the software of the Lab VIEW and the hardware of data acquisition card PCI-6251 is selected respectively, the fault diagnoses system based on virtual instrument is designed, the function is made up of the signal acquisition, signal analyzing, database management, parameter query, and fault diagnosis. Finally, the fault diagnosis system is successfully applied to SDF-9 generator.
