A new data management system for mobile satellite propagation data

A new method is presented for handling data resulting from Mobile Satellite propagation experiments. This method uses the UNIX operating system and C programming language. The data management system is implemented on a VAX minicomputer. The system is interactive in nature, i.e., it lets the user select portions of data depending upon the ancillary information associated with the data stored in a predetermined header Format. The system also has a number oF programs written both in C and Fortran language to allow the researcher to obtain meaningful quantities From the data gathered.
