  • Abstract
    This paper considers the development of a new type of a magnetically driven diaphragm pump. The pump features small size, low energy consumption, and low noise. The pump model, the driving hardware circuits, and the control of the pump system are developed. The main characteristics of the pump are evaluated through several experimental results. The pump can be used in many medical applications like home oxygen concentrators for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients (COPD patients), rehabilitation machines, hemodialysis machines etc.
