Abstract
The multidatabase system has proven to be efficient in managing information sharing and data integration from multiple preexisting heterogeneous databases. Furthermore, advances in technology and communication have made the realization of a mobile-(nomadic-) computing environment a reality. Superimposing the mobile computing environment onto the multidatabase system allows anywhere anytime access to the information resources. Broadcasting has been suggested as a possible solution for several limitations within this new environment. In this work, and learning from our past experiences in objects´ organization on parallel-disk environment, a scheme for object organization along parallel broadcast channels is proposed. The goal of the proposed scheme is to provide load balancing among different channels and to cluster related objects along all channels. The proposed scheme is simulated and analyzed
