Abstract :
Enterprise supply chain management (E-SCM) is a network management system of interconnected businesses and spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. E-SCM is also a main part of enterprise resources planning (ERP), and is usually designed as a subsystem of ERP. In this paper, a framework of medium and small-sized E-SCM system is investigated based on an opening software development platform which provides secondary-developing and opens source code of front platform, and workflow technology and integration definition function modeling (IDEF0) are used in building structure of E-SCM. The present E-SCM system can be built according to different business requirement to monitor supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value. The mainly designing process is elaborated for many medium and small-sized small manufacturing enterprises in China.
