Abstract :
For temperature control system, it is hard to get quick response. This paper proposes the tuning method of proportional band for the starting time of industrial machines. On the other hand, a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system has different settling times due to different rising rates of temperature and setpoints. This paper presents a proportional band considering the settling time. The proposed method can achieve the same settling time. Simulation results based on extruder controlled system show that the proposed method is effective for MIMO temperature controlled system.
