Abstract :
This paper addresses the problem of frequency estimation of sinusoidal signal submerged in hybrid noise (chaotic signals and Gaussian noise). Our algorithm uses the phenomenon of chaos synchronization, and utilizes the knowledge of invariance principle. First, we construct a master-slave chaos synchronization system and using the mixed signal as driving signals. When the synchronization occurred, the signal of received system has small error with driving chaotic signal. Then we subtract the received signal from the driving signals, so the sinusoidal signal is left in the arithmetical compliment, and the frequency is estimated using power spectrum method. The simulations show that the method is effective and feasible.
