Abstract :
In this research work a linearization strategy is applied to the control signals in order to avoid the inherent nonlinearities of the diodes applied on the power amplifier of the Active Magnetic Bearing vibration control actuators. This linearization procedure is based on an experimental functional approximation technique carried out bay an experimental look-up-table transformation so that the power amplifier provides a signal proportional to the control signal. Applied strategy provides satisfactory results.
