Abstract :
In this paper, a device is developed and designed to measure CO2 concentration in fuel cell system for evaluating the generating power efficiency and the environmental quality. Also, it can be used to measure the temperature and humidity of the generating system at the same time. For the device, MSP430 based design scheme is presented to measure the signals from CO2 sensor, temperature sensor and humidity sensor, and send the processed data to show using LED. Moreover, power supply circuit, sound and light alarm circuit and two relay output circuits are included in the device. When the CO2 concentration exceeds a setting value, the sound and light alarm will be started to execute the alarms. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed and designed device is shown by using experimental results.
