Abstract :
An overview of the existing facilities of bit error measurements is given in this report. The first main paragraph describes data test sets (DMG) and error structure recording devices (SAG), giving as well an overview of other useful equipment. In the next paragraph, evaluation processes are explained in detail. They offer the possibility of a complete statistical analysis of the channel. The last paragraph shows the use of the equipment formerly described in a report on 900 MHz digital mobile radio channel measurements during all steps of the investigation.
