Research on constructing virtual video scenes using aesthetic photo retouching

Aesthetic photo retouching is the process of removing some given targets in a real photo deliberately and producing a complete, natural-looking pseudo-image automatically. The implement of aesthetic photo retouching depends on the proposed image inpainting method, especially the capacity of the restoration of large and thick damaged regions with composite textures. Video is a series of images in the time dimension of evolution, if the designated targets in a video can be removed, the contents of the original video can be changed. The paper presents a novel method of constructing virtual video scenes, which can track the designated target based on histograms match in each video frame, and then remove it using aesthetic photo retouching. The approach provides a potential solution for low-cost creating virtual video scene.
