Abstract :
A selection of solver packages has been analysed to discover the range of software available for EMC simulation and design. The range of software embraces finite elements, the transmission line matrix method, various methods of moments and a very simple spread-sheet type approach. Some comparative analysis is presented but the main thrust is to indicate the role which the individual packages might play in industrial design
