Abstract :
Aiming at the existing shortage of the flow transmission of the Power Distribution Communication Network, packet transport network (PTN) is proposed and a PTN-based QoS scheme including differentiated services (DiffServ) and traffic engineering (TE) is introduced. QoS mechanisms are assigned for different traffic flows according to various requirements of delay, bandwidth, reliability of traffic flow in Power Distribution Communication Network to build a QoS guaranteed Power Distribution Communication Network. Simulation of delay, throughput and link-utilization with OPNET is employed based on the case study of Power Distribution Communication Network in Yun Nan, of which the result indicates that the network performance have greatly improved.
