Abstract

We are currently using the Marvel distributed management environment to provide management functionality for core Pronto services and service level router (SLR) functionality. The Marvel system, composed of a set of servers, is responsible for communicating with Pronto nodes, collecting information and providing the necessary controls for configuring SLR and hosting sites. Management information is provided to management clients according to three main views: platform management (network element layer), service management-network operator´s view, service management-customer view
