Abstract
A dynamic model for cellular mobile networks with handoff feature is described in this paper. The procedure for handoff considered in our model is the prioritized scheme or reserved channel scheme. The dynamic model described in our paper is an analytical model. The dynamic behaviour of this model makes it suitable for analysing dynamic channel allocation methods as well as analysing the robustness of the system under perturbation. The concept of our model is based on the fluid flow theory and the queueing theory. Discrete event simulations were done and results were found to be comparable to analytical results
