  • Abstract
    In recent years, with large amount of coalmine production accidents happened, the monitoring and management of the safety of the coalmine production become more significant. But the management method of harmful gases such as CH4 basically depends of the manual inspection of the staff to write down the inspection data on paper and copy them after back to the ground. So this method could not catch up the developing needs and speed of the coalmine safety monitoring. This paper provides the design scheme of coalmine manual checking system which also has been implemented by Web Service technologies and embedded technology based on SOA architecture and PDA device. By using of this system, the management of harmful gases has already achieved the purpose of the paperless operation to enhance the utilization, efficiency and accuracy of the information and avoid the mistakes of manual inspection.
