Abstract
The factors that affect measurement accuracy of vertical tank are briefly analyzed, and the method of measuring with wall-climbing robot is proposed to reduce the radial deviation that occurs in the process of measuring the tank bottom quantity. Putting-into-type level meter is firstly applied to measure the tank bottom increment, and the corresponding verification is designed. These two new methods has overcome the drawbacks of traditional ones, and effectively improved the calibration accuracy of vertical metal tank.
