Abstract :
Nowadays numerous log management tools are available in the market to analyze, report and manage data. To find out the best log management tool it has to be still determined. Firstly we will discuss about log, Log is a detailed information of any application, user activity and system performance. These days organization invest in log management tool to keep an eye on the network as it can track down any activity ongoing in the network. In this research paper five different log management tools have been looked at with a view to determine the features and to rank them in various metrics. As conducting our research we came to know that Kiwi syslog comes with more metrics requirement. So as per our research Kiwi sys log server is the best log management tool.
