  • Abstract
    This paper is concerned with Radial Basis Function (RBF) for restoration of damaged images. We introduce the RBF into the image inpainting, and the 2D image inpainting problem is naturally converted to 3D implicit surface reconstruction problem,which has been used successfully. Otherwise, we do some experiments with several kinds of damaged images, the results showed that the use of the RBF method for image processing applications is feasible.
