Abstract :
Global warming is a problem that modern people are facing. In the past geological time, some period, like Cretaceous, is extremely hot, while geological profiles´ data is the one of the best records of pale climate and paleogeography research. It is necessary to design and establish an information system for geological profiles, which can provide an effective tool for scientific research. This paper shows the structure and function of such a system.
