Abstract :
The adjustable voltage source that is using today, is done commonly by the change of the sliding contact surge location of autotransformer. This voltage regulation is with low precision, slow response, complicated structure, and poor reliability. This paper is about a new type of AC voltage regulator technology. It uses the 89C51 as the controller, auto-ranging the output of the secondary winding employ SCR combination of the transformer with two-way control, through the introduction of zero-turn-off and the whole cycle wave and triggered technology, then output adjustable AC voltage. Without sliding contact and SCR using zero-crossing triggered, AC voltage output wave is continuous and yet almost infidelity. It also really doesn´t generate space radiation of a high-order harmonic.
