Abstract
Since many years, semiconductor industry and public research have studied intensively organic materials, especially conductive polymers. The polymeric semiconductors combine the photoelectrical properties of inorganic semiconductors with the large-scale, low-cost technology of polymeric ´plastic´ materials. Besides products such as organic light emitting already available in the market, many applications are nowadays in development: electronic circuits based on organic transistors, biosensors, gas sensors, photovoltaic cells... In our study we are interested in the realization of new photosensitive sensors based on Distyryl bithiophene structure (DS2T). The thin layers of DS2T were deposited by two ways: thermal evaporation and Inkjet printing. The responses of the realized cells were studied according to the power illumination of a white light source.
