Abstract :
Currently in China, many differences among distributed heterogeneous autonomous ITS subsystems result in serious “resources islet” phenomenon in ITS. Establishing ITSGrid (Intelligent Transportation System Grid) is considered as an ideal solution to solve the above problem. In this paper, we analyzed characteristics and requirements of ITSGrid, put forward ITSGrid architecture based on middleware technology according to major building technologies of computational grid, designed a system framework of distributed resource scheduling management model in ITSGrid based on reference model for general ITS resources information description and resource information management model, and defined key business processes of core modules in this framework. After analyzing the experimental result, it demonstrated that the designed resource scheduling management model for ITSGrid could be applied to various distributed resource scheduling management strategies, which could help ITSGrid to improve resource utilization, optimize the balance of system load, and meet the customed QoS requirements of computational tasks, thus promote ITSGrid overall performance.
