Abstract :
A new control law for multilevel inverters is presented. It provides a fast and flexible control of the inverter capacitor voltages. It works for any number of cells any output voltage level. The inverter capacitor voltage control is completely independent from the load control, leading to a simpler implementation. The algorithm contains a tuning parameter for controlling the switching frequency
