Abstract :
Galvanic steel wires manufacturers have to fulfil several international regulations regarding the zinc mass by surface unit. This paper presents a new sensor to measure this parameter on-line. Details about the different parts of the system (sensor, circuitry, adjustment, signal processing) are explained. Also experimental results in a real manufacturing line are presented
