Abstract
The task of an electrical heat trace system is to cover the heat loss requirement. By that indirect way the temperature on the workpiece will be able to remain at the requested maintain temperature. This article leads to the basic understanding of FEA in the application of electrical heat trace design. It gives a basic understanding and examples for the use of difficult shapes
