  • Abstract
    To support mobility management in a mobile communication environment, a universal browser based ndhu-View management system was designed. Besides the traditional management functions, the ndhu-View system extends to the capabilities of location tracking. Java facilities and SNMP-compatible MIB were defined and utilized to build the ndhu-View interfaces and operations. A π-calculus analytical model was developed for bringing out the mobility feature. From the prototype system, the ndhu-View system can achieve a high degree of efficiency in stationary-mobile communication management with extended capabilities and traditional management functions
