Abstract :
It is difficult to analyze the performance of a supply chain philosophically because of the complexity of the supply chain. Therefore, in order to evaluate the control algorithms for a supply chain, simulation is an effective method. However, it is difficult to describe an entire supply chain because of the large variety and number of components in a supply chain. The paper proposes a description language in which an entire supply chain is described efficiently. It also describes the simulation engine which efficiently determines the execution priority of events, and the simulation tool based on the proposed language which has been developed
