Abstract :
Down-link beamforming with transmit antenna array (TAA) can improve the performance of wireless communication systems. Utilizing the spatial properties of wireless channels, we propose in this paper a semi-blind downlink beamforming method for code division multiple access (CDMA) systems. Since feedback delay can cause performance degradation in a time-varying fading channel environment, channel prediction has been considered to overcome this difficulty
