Abstract :
Creating faster, better and cheaper human space exploration activities should not be a compromise in quality and safety. Activities related to space processing for the most part are very tedious and in many occasions, they tend to be very slow. The time that an operation takes is always proportional to the amount of money that the government will spend. In an effort to bring the cost of payload operations down, a proposed portable aid to the payload move coordinators is developed. The safety of the payload technicians will be increased by not allowing them to be placed in the vicinity of the multi-ton payload being moved around their proximity. The actual margin of error during these time consuming operations is in the range of tenths of an inch. A wireless solution is suggested to enhance the safety of both the payload coordinator and the payload technician while performing their tasks
