Abstract :
This paper is a comparative review of existing well-known techniques for the calculation of the outage probability in several mobile radio environments (lognormal, Rice, Nakagami). The comparison was made using a newly generalized approach as a reference point for the direct evaluation of the outage probability in the presence of mutually independent co-channel interferers. Computer results are also presented and discussed to show the differences between the compared method
