Abstract :
A universal environment for computer simulation of two-dimensional time-harmonic diffraction problems has been created. The purpose is to provide a convenient and reliable tool for testing and benchmarking of diffraction solvers with an up-to-date interface and a number of well-tested and calibrated solvers that cover a wide domain in the space of the problem parameters. Interface conventions will allow users to add their own solvers to the product´s front-end. The software may be used for direct field calculation in the presence of a particular scatterer and for tests of new numerical methods that deal with diffraction problems
