Abstract :
A direction of arrival estimation technique based on unification of eigenstructure and maximum likelihood estimators is considered. The basic stages of the proposed technique are estimation the number of signals, fast evaluation of the rough initial DOA estimates, and fast accurate definition of the initial ones
