Abstract :
This paper reports on our implementation of the QoS Policy Framework, which is currently under development by the IETF. Since QoS is defined from end to end, the deployment of QoS policy will affect various entities that comprise the network. Instead of configuring each entity through network management applications individually, our implementation provides an alternative approach to control the operational characteristics of an IP network as a whole. The implementation architecture and essential technologies are also described
