Abstract :
We report on ultrabroadband detection of THz radiation by using a low-temperature-grown (LT) GaAs photoconducting (PC) antenna gated with 15-fs laser pulses. The detected radiation frequency exceeded 20 THz. This is the highest frequency detected with PC antennas reported so far. A mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser generated 12-fs laser pulses with 75-MHz repetition rate
