Abstract
Semiconductor arrayed waveguide gratings (AWG) are compact and can be monolithically integrated with other semiconductor active devices. Channel crosstalk and excess loss are typically lower than -25 dB and 3 dB. These characteristics make them applicable in many fields. In this paper, we introduce our research activities on semiconductor-based AWGs and photodiode integrated devices
