Abstract :
This paper studies characteristics of a periodically time-varying digital filter and its output signal spectral components. To distinguish a desired signal component harmful frequency harmonics have to be reduced to an acceptable level during filter design. This paper proposes some criterions to estimate the level of undesirable combinational components and methods for their reduction
