Abstract :
Multiphase power system voltage and current signals are decomposed in time domain in order to identify the disturbing components. Using three independent decompositions it is shown how to extract the fundamental positive sequence voltages and in-phase currents, which define the ideal variables to be used as reference for compensation or quality monitoring applications. Results obtained with a digital processing interface are presented. Applications to instantaneous power theory, power conditioning and quality are monitored
