Abstract :
We have measured technique charts for EC-L film as a function of patient thickness and field size. These measurements have resulted in important findings about the response of EC-L films to high energy radiation beams and resulted in an improved method to measure technique charts. Also, because the X-ray detectors of TV camera-based EPIDs and amorphous silicon EPIDs are identical to EC-L film, our findings suggest that the design of these devices should be modified if they are to be used for transit dosimetry
