Abstract
This paper describes a complex system for biomechanical experiments, which is supervised by universal simulation environment Matlab Simulink. The overall system comprises a personal computer (PC), Optotrak system for noncontact three dimensional position measuring, two AMTI force plates, Parotec force-sensor shoe insoles and computer controlled four-channel electrical stimulator. Conceptually the most important application is the laboratory implementation of closed-loop electrical stimulation of paralyzed subjects. However, single system parts can be used in standalone Matlab applications
