Abstract :
This paper gives a short description of VMC++, a recent C++ re-implementation of the VMC and XVMC code systems, that incorporates a variety of improvements in the modeling of the underlying physical processes and incorporates several new variance reduction techniques. It is demonstrated that VMC++ agrees on a sub-percent level with EGSnrc
