Abstract :
The intracranial arteriovenous malformation (AVM) has a very complex shape and it is difficult to find. The aim of this study is to devise a new method for identifying the area of this disease accurately. In the identification of the area, we used the information on the blood flow conditions (inflow and outflow) of these blood vessels. To clarify the flow conditions, we acquired dynamic X-ray CT images with contrast and opaque media and analyzed these images by means of a factor analysis method. The results of preliminary experiments proved the effectiveness of the proposed method.
