Abstract
A health care service network is designed and developed for several community hospitals and a central hospital, which is applied to give regular physical examination (RPE) to the whole community residents. The system consists of two parts: Client and Server. The Client is used in every community hospital. A multiple physiological information measurement device is developed for the Client, General practitioner can fulfill RPE task by using this device. The Client has a local database to manage all residents´ health records and the results of RPE. Furthermore, it has powerful tools to analyze and process physiological data. The Server, which is used in central hospital, stores and manages the health records sent by all community hospitals. The doctors at the central hospital can obtain a resident´s health record from the Sever and make consultation for him/her. The communication between the Client and the Server is based on the Internet
