Abstract
Preliminary results concerning a new processing method for biplane coronarography is presented. Severity of coronary artery stenosis is assessed through the analysis of imaging sequences acquired with a specific protocol: blood flow velocity is estimated simultaneously for every position along a vessel segment and every time of the cardiac cycle. As with a Doppler intracoronary probe, estimated temporal velocity profiles give access to the velocity average peak value (APV) and to the coronary flow reserve (CFR) in hyperaemia
